Local Processing: All text cleaning and processing (removing citations, links, and formatting) happens entirely on your local machine within your browser session.

No Remote Servers: The Extension does not communicate with any external servers or APIs.

2. Permissions Justification

ActiveTab & Scripting: These permissions are used solely to access the text you select and perform the cleaning process.

ContextMenus: Used only to provide the "Clean Copy" option in your right-click menu.
